Cosy Pint at a British Pub
Traditional British pubs are great at Christmas, they seem to suit the decorations, the open fires and the social occasions. In the city centre there are 4 that provide the quintessential experience.

For us The Star Inn is the ultimate winter warmer pub in Bath. Open fires and wood paneling make the small 17th Century rooms extra warm and snug. With bar games like Shove Halfpenny you can while away the hours talking over a quality pint.

The Old Green Tree is the next contender, a small traditional pub where you can sit by the fire and read the newspaper whilst the snow falls outside. It's small, but there are cosy rooms at the front and back with a central bar area; so squeeze in to check for space.

The Salamander has a traditional character with wood paneling and church pew seating lining the walls. The window seats are especially good for people watching and soaking up the Christmas vibe.

The Raven is just around the corner from The Salamander, and has a larger top floor bar. Both floors are welcoming and comfortable with great ale, mulled drinks and hot chocolate.
