The Salamander, also known as 'The Sally' by locals, is a welcoming pub located in the city centre. The pub has a traditional character with wood panelling and church pew seating lining the walls. The public rooms are split over two floors, with a cosy ground floor bar and a bright and airy first floor dining room. They serve good quality real ales, alongside coffee and wine. The menu is seasonal and fresh, including light bites and satisfying big meals.
